FOODIE ALERT: Fiesta found in Dubuque! Sometimes mama just needs a fiesta break while the kids are in school . Enter Fiesta Cancun where the vibes are fun, the staff is awesome (shoutout to my server Alex ), and the portions? HUGE. My meal rolled out looking like a foil-wrapped Italian beef , but surprise -- it was packed with tender meat + soft bread, and once I added my Mexican magic (jalapeños , lime , sour cream), it was fiesta-level flavor. Only thing I forgot? Cilantro (rookie move, it's my fave herb). Extra spice lovers they've got you! Alex hooked me up with a full sauce tray: Tapatío + red & green habanero = heaven. Oh, and apparently I missed the pineapple drinks served in actual pineapples with umbrellas (guess I have to come back with friends + family, right?). Atmosphere? . Food? Filling + delicious. Experience? Memorable sombrero moment included . If you're craving a fiesta in Dubuque, this spot's the place.

Stopped by here for lunch. I ordered the burrito Dubuque and my mother ordered the fajita bowl. We also got their Mexican street corn elotes. All very good. The chips were warm and so good too! Service was great and all the staff we interacted with were very friendly and happy to help. My only wish was that they had sweet tea. Regardless, I will definitely be back.
